Over 122,000 Australians experience homelessness every night. Greater than the maximum capacity of the MCG. Alarmingly, a quarter of all these people are between the ages of 12 and 24. Furthermore, this statistic is redundant as 1 enough is too many.

In Victoria, more than 7,600 young people experience homelessness every night. Around 1600 in Melbourne alone, a city that was once voted as "the most livable city in the world" 7 years in a row not a decade ago.

Young people need more than a safe place to live, they need stability and support to develop life skills, heal from trauma, and to transition to independence. Your support is needed now more than ever.

Homelessness is not a choice. Homelessness doesn't discriminate. While the experience of homelessness varies, it is far from a blessing, no matter who or where you are.

I'm seeking your support by asking you to donate, not to me, but to this cause. Find someone else advocating for this if you wish, but please pay this cause attention.

Together, we will end youth homelessness tonight but more importantly as a conceded effort!
