Every night, over 122,000 Australians experience homelessness. That’s more than the maximum capacity of the MCG.

In Victoria, more than 7,600 young people experience homelessness every night.

The main cause of homelessness for young people is family violence

The main cause of family violence is gender inequality

This is everyone responsibility and totally avoidable if we wanted to end youth homelessness. So until those in power value young people’s rights to safety, I am doing something, along with a bunch of others, to raise money for MCM who work super hard to offer young people some dignity and a safe place to sleep.

Homelessness is not a choice. Homelessness doesn't discriminate.
