Embrace the power of community

Be part of a fun event that enables young people to thrive.
Every night 7,628 young people in Victoria have no place to call home.

By experiencing one night sleeping at the iconic MCG, you, along with your friends, families and colleagues, will raise essential funds to support vulnerable youth who are experiencing homelessness, to become independent adults that thrive.

The power of community.
End youth homelessness

In 2024, over one-thousand compassionate Victorians came together for MCM Sleep At The ’G in support of thousands of young Victorians who are without a safe place to call home.

The fundraising and one-night sleepover at the iconic MCG helped raise essential funds to go towards creating safe, supporting homes with healing oriented care and support.

There is something for everyone at MCM Sleep At The ’G. Music. Comedy. Magic. Community. Be part of the action in 2025 by registering your interest today!

The power of unity.
Let's end homelessness

Homelessness is not a choice. Young people do not choose to become homeless. For many, the daily reality and burden of family violence, abuse, neglect, mental illness, substance abuse, unemployment, gambling, and the disadvantages of poverty force them to flee the family home in search of a safer option.

Once they become homeless, they face even more dangerous situations; sleeping rough in unsafe housing or couch surfing. The longer homelessness lasts, the harder it is for a young person to rebuild their lives.

Homelessness becomes a cycle – surviving from one day to the next. Without the support of organisations like MCM, a young person can become further entrenched in long term-homelessness, increasing trauma and poverty, losing all hope of reaching their full potential.

Our work does not stop at MCM Sleep At The 'G. MCM requires significant financial investment from government, philanthropists, and individuals to start this positive ripple effect with lasting systemic change for those whose lives will be positively impacted and the broader community.

We cannot do this alone.
